RIVERSIDE.

A Card Tbat Says It Was \'ot SXacii or a Frost, After All.

Bivesside, January 13th.— We, the undersigned citizens of Biverside, having read the telegram famished by W. T. Coleman & Co. to the press, and sent to them by T. E. Langley of this place (who is in their employ), state that we are acquainted with the entire settlement of Riverside, and that we have made a full and complete investigation of the entire valley, and find that the subject matter contained in the same telegram is a mistake, and, in fact,' that not to exceed 5 per cent, of the orange crop of Biverside is injured by frost at this time. We have spent the entire afternoon in the investigation of this matter, and state, upon our honor, according to the best of oar knowledge and belief, tbat the above statement is correct. J. A.
