The estate of Oliver F. Richardson is appraised at $3,134 86. ■

The Boothe divorce case and the Dods salt have been continued till Friday. The alarm o? fire yesterday was for a burning chimney at 176 Ninth street. No damage.

Charles Jargens has brought suit against Willism Coker to recover $444 on a promissory note. Judee Greene yesterday adjudged F. W. Henehaw to be guilty of contempt of Court in disobeying the Court's previous order in the DaaielsHenshaw contest. He was sentenced to pay a fine of $500, in default of which he will be imprisoned in the County Jail one day for each dollar of fine till paid. Judge Henshaw save a bond in the ram of $1,000. A writ of habeas corpus will be aaed ont in the Supreme Court. A large and enthusiastic meeting of the International Cigarmakers' Union of Oakland was held at Germania Hall last evening. Prior to the meeting a street parade took place, participated In by the Cigarmakers of Ban Francisco and Oakland. At the Hall enthusiastic and well-received addresses were made by Herman Gutstadt, Judge J. G. Macnire, Jas. H. Barry and others npon the Chinese question.
