Bondurant, County Judge and ex Officio Probate Judge of Mariposa county, State of California: I will expose for sale, in front of the Court House door, on the Ist day of May, 1861, between tbe hours of 10 A. M. and 4 P. 51., all the right, title and interest of Peter Kullstrom, (known in this county as Pet*r Miller), in and to a certain Ranch; being the undivided half of said Ranch and improvements thereon. Said Ranch is known as the " Fulka k Miller Ranch; also by the appellation of the "Dutch" and *• Swede Boys," &c. Said Ranch is situated about 12 miles from Mariposa town, 2 miles north west of Mr. Magoon's Ranch, and 1 mile north of White k Hatch's Saw-Mill, and near the middle fork of the Chowchillia. Said Ranch is in a very desira blc location—the Yo Semite trail passing through it. The Racch consists of 450 acres, more or less, with a fence, enclosing about 200 acres, aud one of the best in this county. The above building is the only one in the town calculated for a FIRST CLASS HOTEL The property has rented for the last two years for SEVENTY-EIVE DOLLARS PER MONTH. BY virtue and in pursuance of a writnf Execution issued out of the District Court of the Thirteenth Judical District, held in and for the County of Mariposa, State of California, duly attested the 23d day of March, A D 1861, and to me directed in favor of B. C. Horn k Co., Plaintiffs, and against Henry James, defendant, for the suin of Five Hun dred and Sixty-Nine Dollars and Nine Cents, ($569,08), together with interest, costs and accruing costs, I have levied upon the following described property, (the same having been attached by me on the 10th day of January, A. D. 1861), to wit: A certain town lot situated on the East side of Main street, in the Town of Bear Valley, (Mariposa county. State of California) adjoining Northington'a Saloon on the South, and Currie's Livery Stable on the North, being about seventeen feet front on said Main street, and extending back tbout twenty-four leet, upon which is erected a frame building, now being used as a store by H. James. Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, the 30th day of April, A. D. 1861, at 12 o'clock, noon at the tront door of the Court House, in the Town and County of Mariposa, I will expose for sale at public auction all the interest of defendant, in and to all the above described property, to tbe highest bidder, for cash.
