SEALED PROPOSALS WILL BE RECEIVED by the Board of Directors of the Brown's Valley Irrigation District for the pnrchase of the bonds of said district at any time after the date of this notice, Rod until the Htli day of December. lfSs, at 1 o'clock r. m. of said day, at the office of said Board, at the town of Brown's Valley, county rf Yuba, State of California. Said bonds are issued under and in pursuance 01 an Act of the Legislature of the StaJe of California, entitled "An Act to provide for the organization and government of Irrigation Dis tricts. and to provide for the acquisition of water and other property, and for the distribution of water thereby for irrigation purposes," approved March 7,188". Three hundred of such bonds will be of the denomination of tIOO each; one hundred and sixty of such bongs will be of the denomination each. B*M bonds will be of the form prescribed in Section 15 of raid Act, and bear six per cent, interest, interest payable semi-annually. None of said bonds will be sold for less than ninety per cent, of the fare value thereof. .Said proposals will be opened at said time and place, and the purchase will be awarded to the highest responsible bidder.
