REDONDO'S NEW PAVILION Formal Opening Will lie Held Xex* Weak—Series of Concerts and i, Da uvea to lie ulveu

Redondo, July 19. —The pleasure pavilion Just completed by the Redondo board of trade was the scene of an informal dance last evening. It Is the intention of the entertainment committee of the board of trade to give a formal opening of the pavilion next Wednesday evening, at which time a mus'.cal and literary program will be presented. Several prominent men of Los Angeles will give addresses, among whom are Will A. Harris, John F. Francis, James Burdett and Byron L. Oliver. F. A. Seabert, president of the board of trad*?, H. B. Alnsworth, president of the board of city trustees, and N. L. Rowell, D. D., will also give brief addresses. Music will be furnished by the pavilion orchestra, which has been engaged for the entire season. The evening's entertainment will be followed by a dance. The entertainment committee has arranged to give a concert and dance every Wednesday and Saturday afternoon and evening. Joseph G. Easton was down from Los Angeles for an outing yesterday. A "duffers' " tennis tournament will be the attraction at the hotel courts Saturday. Every one who is a poor player or no player at all will be eligible to entry. Appropriate prizes will be awarded the winners. Mrs. W. J. Hughes and Miss Mary Russell of Los Angeles visited Mrs. Wesley Clark at Hotel Redondo this week.
