' San Francisco, January l,">th. Terence Bellew McManus, the Irish exile, who escaped from Botany Bay and arrived here in 1851, died yesterday, in St. Mary's Hospital. He was one of the leaders of the revolution in 1848. He was the compatriot of Smith O'Brien, Thomas Francis Meagher and Donohue.

The Union cockade has made its appearance. It consists of a rosette composed of red, white and blue ribbons, mounted by a gilt eagle with stars. A peddler, named Salmon, was found with his throat cut in the suburbs of Oakland yesterday. He had been robbed of $200.
