ORDINANCE NO. 18

An Ordinance Establishing- Verde Voting ' Precinct. Within' the County of Imperial and Fixing'. the l Boundaries Thereof and,- Changing and establishing the Boundaries of Hanlon Voting Precinct.

The Board of Supervisors of Imperial County do ordain as follows:

Section 1. The following voting precinct Is hereby created within the County of Impe rial to be known. as Verde .Voting Precinct 'with boundaries as follows:

Beginning' at; a point on : the southern boundary of Imperial County at Us intersection with the township line between ranges ■• 18 -Umd 19' B.; -thence ; north to the NE. corner of T. 16 S., R. 18 E; thence west six miles more or less to the northwest corner of said township; thence south 3 miles to the southwest corner of section IS of said township; thence west six miles .to the southwest corner of section 18, ! township "16 south, range 17 east; thence south to the southeast corner of section 13, township 16 south, range 16 east, Sunset Survey; thence west to the -channel of the Alamo river; thence southerly along the channel of the Alamo river to the southern boundary of , Imperial County; thence easterly along'" said southern boundary to the point of beginning.

Section 2. The lines of the Hanlon voting- precinct are changed and established as follows:

Beginning at a point on the range line between ranges 18 and 19 east where said lines intersect the -southern boundary of Imperial County, and running thence north along range' lines thirteen ami one liulf miles more or less, to the northwest corner of ' township .IK south, ransp 19 east; thenre past eighteen miles to the northeast corner of township 15 range 21 enst; thence south eight miles to a point due east of the south line of section 10, township 16 south, range 21 east; thence due east to the eastern boundary of Imperial County; thence southwesterly along the eastern and southern boundaries of Imperial county to the point of beginning.

Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect find be In force on and after the 25th tlay of July, 1909, and prior to said date, shall be printed for one ltfbue in the Imperial Valley Press, a newspaper of general circulation, printed and published in the County of Imperial.

Passed, approved and adopted this 6th day of July, 1909.
