DIVORCE DEMANDED AT GRAVE'S BRINK

BRIDEGROOM 80 YEARS OLD IS PETITIONER

Seven Suits for Separation Filed in Superior Court Yesterday and Seven Decrees Were Granted

Alleging that his wife. Mattle J. Kinc Htnkle, 74 years old, deserted him a •w-jek after their marriage in July, last year, Edward Hinkle, an old man of Pomona and one of the oldest settlers of that city, filed suit for divorce in the superior court yesterday. The couple were married at Santa Barbara July 8, 1908, and on July 16, according to Hinkle, his Wife left him and has ever refused to return. Six other suits for legal separation were filed, as follows: Melvin W. Stringer against Grace Bell Stringer, George A. Brown against Minnie Olive Brown, Isabel A. Mayhew against Leonard T. Mayhew, George Bardoni against Ida Bardoni, Jessie May Griffith Austin against W. H. Austin and James R. Kendall against Anna Kendall. The decrees equaled in number the suits filed, seven persons being granted freedom from their matrimonial bonds. The decrees granted were Edward D. Yard from Florence Yard, Florenci w. Saunders from Franklin Saunders, Vera Reebs from V, B. Reebs, William E. Gillons from Sadie E. Gillons, Alice Moore from Jasper Moore. Martin Klotz from Julia Klotß and Carrie B.
