Skilman's Importation of Horses.

In last week's issue of the Rural, we noticed the arrival of Mr. Skillman's latest importation of thoroughbred horses from England. This stock consists of five Suffolk Punch and two Shire stallions, all young horses. Four out of the seven head have taken first premiums in the Show Ring. Mr. Skillman has been a regular importer for the last ten years, and his large experience and knowledge of the best families in France and England has enabled him to bring into our State the best that could be had. It has been his policy to select from the best strains of blood without regard to price. Good judges have spoken very highly of his latest importation as one of the best ever made by him. Any one interested in this class of stock is cordially invited to make a visit to Reilly's Stables, Petaluma, and judge for themselves. Those who desire can have a catalogue sent on application. We will make a more extended notice of these grand young horses soon.
