TAXES CANCELLED EC- AD MATTERS. 7. * . 7 The petition of tbe Central Pacific Railroad Company, per E. Black Ryan, tor the i cancellation of the taxes assjssed on lots 5, 6, 7 and 8. L and M, Fifth and Sixth streets, on the ground of double assessment, and that the taxes had been paid, was read and granted, "xf The report of the Road Viewers, D. Poorman and J. C. Conner, appointed to view a private road, j applied for by J. P. Odbeit and others, was read and filed. ' The report of Jas. I Lansing, Overseer for Road District No. 7, was read and referred to Supervisor Moore. F. Richardson for tbe cancellation of {axes assessed against lots 1 and 2, T, U, ! Twenty-first and Twenty second streets, because tbe taxes bad been by mistake assessed on lots 5 and 6 in the same block, and paid twice on 5 and 6, was received and granted.
