Over 26,000,000 People Visited the Shovr at the French Capital. Paris, October 17th.— Le Temps, in a resume of the financial results of the Exposition, says that before the close the number of people who will have visited the great show will reacii 20,000,000 or more. Referrine to the proposed World's Fair in America in 181)2, I.c Temps says it is by no mean.-: as certain as it seemed a month ago that the Americans will select New York for the location of tceir Exposition, as Chicago is making strenuous efforts to secure it. Commenting on the availability of Chicago, as compared with New York, Le Temps saya: "We wonder how many Chicagans who crossed the ocean to visit the Exposition ia the first city of France would have taken the eanie trouble if the show had been in Lyons, our second ciiy of importance?"
