June —Flower day was observed this afternoon by the Woman's Christian Temperance Union.The members met in the guild room of the Trinity Methodist Episcopal church and arranged flowers to be distributed in different hospitals on this side of the bay. Miss isabelle Patterson gave an account of temperance instruction In public schools. Leaflets entitled "Temperance Arrows," prepared from the writings of David Starr Jordan by Mrs. J. L. Slater and Mrs. H. M. Cartwright, will be distributed.
