Painful Accident.

On Tuesday of last week Wm. Clark of Drytown, while attempting to climb into his cart from behind, was thrown to the ground by the sudden backing of the horse, and before he could regain his feet was violently tramped upon, by the infuriated beast. Dr. Tiffany was called to dress the wounds. Mr. Clark is in a serious condition, rendered more so on account of his advanced age.
