Monthly report of county, physician approved. Monthly report of county health officer approved. Applications of J. B. Fenk, and C. 1. Hamm for liquor licenses in lone, granted. Applications of L. Daville and John Pearce laid over until next meeting. Matter of petition of W. H. Glenn and others ■ for new road from three miles north east of Whltmore's'sawmill to Emigrant road, continued until next* regular meeting; the board, of supervisors to visit said proposed new road during the present month. In the matter of petition of W. H. Glenn et al, for a new public road from Lessley's sawmill to Wiley's station, continued until next meeting, board to visit road In the meantime.

Ordinance No. 110, establishing a bounty on coyote scalps, to go into effect and be in force on and after March 22, 1902, passed by the following vote: Ayes, Supervisors Newman, Amick, McLaughlin anil Moore; Noes, Supervisor Le Mom.

Election returns of incorporation election in Sntter Creek were canvassed with the following result: Total vote, 277; for incorporation, 106; against incorporation, 162. For Trustees the vote was as follows: John Ross, 111; V. Brignoli, 108; M. F. Connors, lllr L- Oettinger, 105; M. D. Nixon, 1; M. Brinn, 1; John Lithgow, 3; E. C. Voorheis, 1; W. E. Finn, 1. For Clerk and Assessor C. E. Richards received 107 votes. For Treasurer, Jackson Dennis, 111; Marshal and License Collector, D. F. Gray 97, Win. Cramer 10, H. Eplett 13, J. M. Benson 1. The Chairman declared the issue for the Incorporation of Sutler Creek defeated. Communication from the Sacramento Bee in regard to advertising the resources of the county was read. County Auditor is ordered to issue warrants on the current expense fund

for the following amounts, for services on the election board: V. W. Norton, E. A. Tibbitts, C. E. Jarvis, ; C. K. Fournier, G. F. j Downs, Thomas H. Simmons and John Trenaman, $3 each.
