At an auction sale In a Scotland village the auctioneer was trying to sell a number of domestic utensils, . including a porridge pot As usual, he was making a great fuss. Finishing, his keen eyo caught a well known worthy, the beadle, standing at the back of the crowd, and he shouted out:
