Hand Crushed.

E. C. Rust, proprietor of the Amador Dispatch, met with a serious accident yesterday morning. He was operating a large Gordon press, running by water power. In feeding the sheets he failed to withdraw his right hand in time, resulting in crushing the hand severely. The bones of tbe fingers and knuckles were broken, and tbe band otherwise injured. He was taken to the home of his brother, Judge Rust, on Broadway, where his injuries were surgically treated by the attending: physicians. The accident will deprive him of the use of the hand for several weeks.
