The Lady Bulldogs basketball team from Roosevelt High defeated the Lady Diablos last ; Saturday night 28-26 at Cal State I.A. Led by forward Kathy Martinez and center Sandra Mendez, the Bulldogs built an eightpoint lead with two minutes remaining, but saw 1 theDiablos climb to within two points behind the : shooting of Angie Casarez and Alina Hernandez. Sandra Mendez led all scorers with 16 points.
