Dear Editor: Thank you for your recent article by reporter Scott Harper on the Concerts in the Park and the history of building the bandstand. With the 1990 season just over plans are under way for year 20 of the concert program. The financial backing for the past four years by Coronado Shores residents Joe Kane and Bill Soule is now over. I cannot begin to thank them enough for their generosity. I would like to turn to you friends, families, organizations and businesses to finance the needed budget of $6,000 for the next year. This amount will cover all expenses including insurance for the fifteen weeks. All donors names will appear in the program and are tax

deductible. Any amount will be greatly appreciated. If any organization, business, family or individual donates $3OO, it will entitle them to their own Sunday Concert. Their group and date will hbe announced in the Park. If you care to help "continue the music," please mail a check to: Coronado Promenade Concerts 1030 Glorietta Boulevard Coronado, CA 92118 Thank you in advance and we look forward to a great, community-sponsored 1991 Summer Concert Season. Mary Carlin King-Ross Concert Coordinator.
