Never Too Late Time seemed to crawl As the weeks and months Eventually drag cm. Where did those days go? When time and tide Seemed to stand still While we were Ardent, frivolous lovers Indifferent to a ticking clock. It was we two — Against a world full of problems. Can we revive those Happy go lucky moments? Now, with our fragile bodies Trying to overcome the desires of The former thrills of our youth As a burning flame Seeks moments of joy Contrary to the rules of nature We meet someone new — Suddenly awakens us To try again To bring joy and happiness To both of us.
