Jim Laslavic's Charger Picks A sellout crowd, national TV, a two-game winning streak, four of next five games at home, Chargers are on a roll and will roll right over the Bears. My prediction is 27-9 Chargers. Look for another big game from Natrone Means.

Homecoming activities abound during this festive weekend each year, including (clockwise, from upper left); CHS varsity football squad rode a Coronado _ __ firetruck during the Friday afternoon parade down Orange Avenue; Superintendent Dave Blumenthal and High School Principal Dr. Jeff Davis were driven in the parade by Gloria Todd (at wheel) and Amy Myers; Sarah Fledderjohn, Homecoming court member, driven by Amy Farrow and Seanan Henson; the Jr. Class float followed the Homecoming theme 'Once Upon A Time” and won the theme prize. The float was driven by Brad Couture and the princess in the tower was Katherine Wilcox being rescued by knight Terri Linder; Justin Arnall, ASB Officer, presented flowers during the halftime of the evening football game and greets VADm Fran Holian and daughter Mara Holian; pep rally for homecoming and the selection of Wally Urtnowski as king; Justin Arnall presents a bouquet to Ashley Adams (right) while her father, William Adams, watches; Alice in Wonderland was the theme of the Sophomore float in the parade. The big round form is the white rabbit's watch; the freshmen's float depicted the story of the popular Disney movie Aladdin.
