Voting By Mail

If you are unable to go to the polls on election day, or would simply prefer to vote at home, you may want the convenience of voting by mail in November. A mail ballot application appears on the back cover of your sample ballot pamphlet. Simply fill out the application and mail. A letter requesting a ballot will also be accepted if it contains the following information: • Name and date of election (General Electio, November 5, 1996) • Your name (printed) • Your residence address • A mailing address where the ballot is to be sent (if other than registered address) • Your signature Mail your request to: Registrar of Voters, P.O. Box 85520, San Diego, CA. 92186-5520. Mail ballot requests must be received by spm on Tuesday, October 29, 1996.
