Bill Sturgeon Offers Sincere Gratitude To Supporters

Dear Editor; I want to express my sincere gratitude to all who supported my candidacy for a seat on the City Council. I would have preferred sending a personal letter but without knowing all of your names and addresses this is the only medium available. I cherish each of your votes as a very special gift to me - a statement of your faith in me and the ideals for which I stand. I would have been proud to have represented you. You

can be assured that I will continue to champion and support those issues and projects which I advocated during my campaign which in part are: Preserving and enhancing the beauty and life style of Coronado; addressing the inevitable changes that will occur; initiating frequent sidewalk cleaning, and an accelerated schedule of repair or replacement; improving and increasing facilities for the youth - including a temporary skateboard park until a permanent

one can be built; making City Council meetings available to all citizens of Coronado - especially those who cannot easily leave work early; and creating a harmonious partnership with the residents, businesses and Navy. I urge you to help me in achieving these goals and working with and supporting the newly elected and incumbent representatives of our city.
