A FRENCH TEACHER residing in the bouse will furnish every advantage to those desirous of acquiring lhat language, which as far as practicable, will be the language of the family. The Matron, having immediate charge of tbe younger pupils, is a French lady, who speaks ber own language ezclusivly. The list of studies above enumerated, covers tbe entire Course of Instruction at tbe Institute, and are not all pursued at the same time by any pupil; on the contrary, care is taken to avoid perplexing or embarrassing tha mind by too many studies at once. The Plan of Instruction pursued, is designed to maka TIIK ITPIL THOBOOOa AM) ACCURATE in the studies to which her attentb n ia devoted, rather than to impart a superficial knowledge of a great variety of branches. Pupil- hoarding with the Principal, will be required to attend public worship on the Sabbath with her, or at such place* uf worship as their parents may desire; always however to be under suitable protection while absent from the family. Instead of the usual requirement of bed nnd tablefurniture, an Entrance Fee uf fifteen dollars will g* charged. With the view of promoting the health of the pupilg by proper and judicious physical exercise, A Regular Course of Calisthenics will constitute one of the features of the School.
