Vegetables at Stockton.

When at Stockton, we called at the Produce Warehouse of Joseph Hale, near the I.eree, one of the large dealers, and found some of the finest products we have seen in any market, and we were surprised to learn the large amount of potatoes tbat were sent from this city to Stockton. Mr. Hale informed us that he has sold within ono month over 100,000 pounds of Irish potatoes, and 60,000 pounds of sweet potatoes, and 15,000 pounds of onions.

The Irish potatoes are all sent from tbis city, the sweet potatoes from Mormon Slough and the Sacrameuto River, the onions from tbe same source. Mr. Hale exhibited his samples at the Fair, and they were tbe best we bave seen for years. They are sold to tbe mountain trade, which is very large there.
