TO FATTEN FOWLS.

Corn meal, aa everybody knows, is tbe best and cheapest teed for fattening alt kinds of poultry — Tbe meal abould be led raw one day, and made iulo a stiff dougb and cooked tbe neit. Feed every four hours through tbe day, beginning early and ending late, and give as mucb at a time as will all be eaten immediately, and no more. Season as plentifully with salt as persons do their tood, end add a slight sprinkle of cayenne occasionally. These condiments serve a double purpose, tbat of Improving appetite and digestion, and tbe quality of tbe Mesh lor tbe table. For the sake of variety give every day a very little meat, and boiled potatoes, aud a small allowance of corn in tbe kernel. anllD FBOat THK BIST. • It cannot be 100 often repeated, that the farmer can Improve his fowls and add to bis income, by taking a little pains in procuring for settings rgga from tbe beat bene only. Either cull tbe finest of the lock and put tbem by themselves for breeding purposes, or have every fowl upon the farm choice enough for a breeder, which can b* brought about by killing every inferior specimen.
