Topedo Boats Will Leave

The following torpedo boats now in San Diego harbor have been ordered into, reserve at Mare Island: The Rowan, Hull, Hopkins, Whipple, Lawrence, Farragut and the Goldsborough. The removal of these vessels with their officers and families is greatly regretted in naval social circles. Ensign A. G. Olsen and wife of the Rowan are among the expatriated ones who regret leaving friends and tneir pretty Coronado home. Captain Harold Jones of the Hull and his charming wife will also be greatly missed from naval festivities. Miss Martha A. Kneedler of Adella avenue and her guest, Miss Bull, whose home is in Louisville, Kentucky, have been enjoying a round of extensive entertainment by the officers of the torpedo boat flotilla, and lament the departure of the boats with so many friends.
