der oath on the first day of each month, the amount collected by him for the preceding month, and shall pay the same to the City Treasurer. Section 18. That it shall be unlawful for any person, firm, corporation or other association as owner or agent to let, lease, rent or permit any place to be used in violation of this ordinance. Section 19. That it shall be unlawful for any person, firm, corporation or other association to transport or in any manner deliver any Intoxicating liquors of any kind to any place, the establishment or keeping of which is prohibited by. this ordinance unless properly licensed. Section 20. AH places maintained or intoxicating liquors and vessels containing the same stored, kept or sold in violation of this ordinance are hereby declared public nuisances, and may be abated in any lawful manner by any police officer of this city. Section 21. That any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished by a fine of not more than Fifty Dollars ($50.00) or by imprisonment in the "County Jail of San Diego County for a period not exceeding twenty-five days, or by both such 'fine and imprisonment; and in the event that the fine imposed hereunder is not paid, then by Imprisonment In the County Jail of said San Diego County at the rate of one day for every two dollars ($2.00) of the fine so imposed. Section 22. That this ordinance shall in no way affect the provisions of Ordinance No. 226 of the Ordinances of said City, entitled “An Ordinance Imposing Municipal Licenses in the City of Coronado, California, and Providing the Manner of Issuing and Collecting the same. Regulating the Manufacture, Sale and Giving Away of Intoxicating Liquors in said City, Prescribing the Duties of Certain Officers of said City, Fixing the Penalty for its Violation', and Repealing Ordinance No. 146 of said City,” approved on the 20th day of February* 1911. Section 23. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its adoption and publication as required by law. Passed, adopted, approved, and ordered published by the Board of Trustees of the City of Coronado, California, this sth day of January, 1915.
