Last Saturday the Coronado Scouts entertained the scouts of San Diego and vicinity at their week-end camp. Camp Mcßae. Seven troops of scouts were represented in the fathering. The program commenced at 9 o’clock and there was something doing all the time until 8 that night. The swimming was the big stunt of the day. .. , Following out the National program of the Boy Scouts the Coronado Scouts spent the first four days of this week on the Liberty Loan and have been successful, as twenty-two bonds have been reported to date and others are expected. Thursday the first potatoes from their "spud” patch were dug and the crop is a promising one. Some of the crop will be used on the summer camp and the rest will be sold to those desiring to purchase. Last Monday the Beaver Patrol had their first house party and it was a decided success.
