SAVOY THEATER

Funny, fat and flirtatious Nat (Chick) Halites returns to the Savoy Theater the week beginning next Monday afternoon, following a long absence, and will be seen in Dear," the feature nupiber of the new Pantages vaudeville program. There is not so much plot in "Yes, My Dear” as to have the audience worried but this fact is entirely overlooked in the amount of mirth contained in the offering, the number of pretty songs and dances, and the clever work of Haines, the “vamp,” and the “pretty girl,” as well as the attractive stage settings and costumes. One of the most choice musical offerings seen on the Pantages circuit in some time is promised by the Kuba Quartet. This act is sponsored by Jan Rubini, the well known and popular violinist, and is filled with instrumental selections that amounts to

aa unusual treat for every lover of good quisle. Bardwell, Mayo and Renfrew are three repartee experts who are expected to prove among the biggest favorites of the week. It is an exceptionally lively line of chatter that is dispensed by this trio, and from start to finish of the turn they have the audience at the heighth of happiness. Another favorite who has a place on the bill next week is Harry Antrim. There are few and imitators more popular than Antrim, for his oddity in imitations, songs and chatter is always to be depended on to afford the keenest entertainment. Then there will be Daly and Berlew a pair of terpsiehorean artists. There is little of the usual dance act in the offering made by this pair, for their program is filled with original creations, especially good being their whirlwind numbers. Laretto, known as “the human

frog,” also has a place on the new program, with his green swamp and his bizarre gymnastics. In addition to the vaudeville there will be a motion picture comedy and a news weekly.
