Coronado’s Fire Department is bee coming noted for its efficiency. At the meeting of fire chiefs, held recently in Pasadena, Coronado’s' fire department was held up as a model for other cities of the sixth class to go by. We ought to reap some reward in reduced expenses by having a superior fire department. Don’t get your hopes too high, for the Board of Fire Underwriters is very deliberate in its official actions, especially when reductions in rates are planned; but a different rating will be most acceptable, and will probably be granted very soon.
