The 1926 Budget Accepted Yesterday

The tentative budget for the city’s 1926 expenditutes was accepted yesterday at the regular meeting of the Board of Trustees. The tax rate for 1926 will probably be announced at the next meeting. A license was granted to the Capitol Electric Company of San Diego, at this meeting, to do business in Coronado. The matter of purchasing a new siren for the fire truck was referred to the finance committee. An ordinance was introduced amending Ordinance No. 418 which will remove the license on certain occupations. It will have its second reading at the next meeting.
