Catholic Charity Ball Will Be Held Nov. 20

The i>i eciou-ness of human life in itself lus been asserted to be a modern conviction by 488 prominent men amPwomen of the city and county who are sponsoring the Catholic charity ball to bo given Nov. 20, in the civic auditorium as a benefit for the bureau cf a> ociated Catholic charities. Members of the general committee of which Dr. A. F. Willier is general cha'rman, and sub-committees are working hard to make the social affair one of the finest ever held in the city. J. O. Blethen is chairman of decorations, assisted by Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Trent, R. G. Trefzger, Miss Anna Lynch, Mrs. W. H. Hermes, Miss Lucile Provost, Miss Margaret Martin, Miss Cecelia Martin and Miss Anita Maloney. Joseph A. Walah is chairman of the program, assisted by J. O. Blethen, P. E. McCaffrey, Mrs* William John Scholl, C. Hernandez and Mrs. C. A. Hutchinson. A special feature will be made of the program which will include an ensemble by professional talent. Mrs. William John Scholl and Mrn. Edward T. Lannon will have charge of the boxes. So great is the interest : n the charity ball that bidding for he boxen promisee to become lively.
