Miss Balch and Miss Fenton to be Hostesses at Sport Tea Saturday Miss Caroline Balch and Miss Fenton are giving an informal Sport tea on Saturday afternoon in the eucalyptus grove which surrounds their studio on Adelha avenue. loist Meeting of Series of Bridge at Country Club. The last of the Wednesday bridge teas at the Coronado Country Club was attended by a crowd of players. Mrs. Lilly E. Allen had eight tables, Mis s Berry had two, and Mrs. Henkle two. Several other guests came in for tea. The Country Club is a delightful place to entertain, and everyone will be glad when the next series will start again in August. _ • * • Family Dinner Party .Given At Yacht Club Mr. and Mrs. Oswald Zahn entertained with a family dinner party Sunday evening, at the Yacht Club, the occasion being in honor of Roscoe Downs, house guest of Junior Zahn. Both young men are attending CalTech at Pasadena and motored down to spend the holidays in' Coronado. Covers were placed for Roscoe Downs, Mrs. E. Langalier, Mrs. Zahn’s mother, Robert Hemming, Leo Hansen Curtiss Zahn, Junior Zahn and Mr. and Mrs. Zahn. Both Mr. Zahn and Mr. Downs will return to Pasadena Monday ‘afternoon.
