“The Last of Mrs. Cheney” is the title of the crook comedy being presented this week by the Savoy Players. The play is one replete with everything required in a first class entertainment. There is plenty of thrills, and comedy of the subtle, thoughtful I type. ! The first act of the play transpires ■in a room in Mrs. Webley’s country J house Goring, England. In this act j Lord Arthur Dilling, portrayed by Howard Mac Near carries on an epigrammatic fencing match with the heroine.* ■ " ~ ”, ! I The second act takes place in a 'room in Mrs. Webley’s country house ja week later. The remainder of the play takes place in various parts of the Webley establishment and it is there that most of the excitement oc curs. All of the Savoy Players are prominently cast in this play and it is one of the best plays ever presented by that company in Sap Diego. of—— Mrs. W. H. Farrel apd two children, Billy and have taken the residence at 209 G avenue, and are now located for the winter. During the, summer they toured by motor up the coast to Bremerton, where Lt. Farrel was stationed for sometime and from there took many sight seeing, trips to all interesting points. Lieut'. Farrel came down from San Pedro Saturday evening to spend the holiday with his family. ‘
