New Trial Granted.

Judge Murphy yesterday granted a new trial in the case of -the People against George E. Pilz. Pilz was charged with forging the name of F. A. Huntington to a draft of $300 on the Humboldt Savings Bank, and convicted. The new trial was granted on the ground that the indictment on which Pilz was tried was defective.
