DEATHS OF THE DAY Henry C. Jarrett

LONDON, Oct. 14.—Henry C. Jarrett of New York died suddenly in London Tuesday. Mr. Jarrett about thirty years ago was* associated in various enterprises in the United States with A. M. Palmer, one of them being the Union Square theater of New York. For many years he had resided in London. Mother Mary Augustine SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 14—Mother Mary Augustine, provincial superior of the Sisters of the Holy Name of Jesus and Mary, died tonight at St. Mary's hospital, aged 54 years. She was the founder of the convent of the Sacred Heart in Oakland. Prince Ahmed CONSTANTINOPLE. Oct. 14. — Prince Ahmed Bedreddine, a young son of the sultan, died of pneumonia yesterday. Ex-Qovernor Henry L. Mitchell TAMPA, Fla., Oct. 14.—Ex-Governor Henry L. Mitchell died at his home here today, aged 70 years.
