A Death Struggle.

The Sacramento Eejxrrter has been for years the organ of the Democratic party at Uic State Capital. After the assembling of the Columbus convention the Reporter hoisted at the head of its editorial columns the following ticket: For President, Hon. David Davis ;Liberal Republican), of Illinois; for % ioo President, Governor Joel Parker (Democrat), of New Jersey—subject to the decision of the Democratic National Convention. On the Otb instant it pallid down the above ticket and hoisted the following : For President, Thomas A. Hendricks, of Indiana; For Vice President, William T. Wallace, of California—subject to the decision of the Democratic National Convention. This was one of the Importer* last throes. A few days thereafter it chronicles the death of the daily issue, and gives notice that the weekly issue will survive but a few weeks longer. In this connection it might be well enough to state that the “Stale paper act” and “ Litigaht paper act ” having. be u repealed, the Exporter loses its main source of revenue; and in addition to this the Supreme Court is no longer Democratic, hence another “ fat la!:;',” the Supremo Court decisions, islostVto tint public php paper. Soon it may bo said tbit Sacramento, the Capital cf California, a city of 20,000 inhabitants, bat no Democratic organ.
