FRUITVALE MEN HEAR SUFFRAGE ORATORS

OAKLAND, Aug. 23.—Earnest talks for woman suffrage were made last evening before the Men's league of Fruitvale Congregational church. The meeting had been arranged by Mrs. Henry Wetherbee and was one of the most successful of the campaign.

Miss Ethel Moore of the municipal playground commission; Miss Beatrice McCall, assistant probation officer, and P. M. Fisher, principal of the manual training and commercial high school were the speakers. Rev. Burton M. Palmer presided.
