Coronado Saturday Night printed April 1, 1922 – August 19, 1922. Harry Chrimes was managing editor. Its office was located at 918 Orange Avenue. Coronado Saturday Night was a weekly newspaper published every Saturday by the Saturday Night Company. Coronado Saturday Night merged with The Coronado Strand in December 1922. Harry Chrimes remained as managing editor; its location was 943 Orange Avenue. For a brief time, the combined newspaper was named Coronado Saturday Night and The Coronado Strand. The newspaper was published every Saturday by the Coronado Publishing Co. In September 1923, Coronado Saturday Night and The Coronado Strand changed its name to Coronado Journal and The Coronado Strand.
