Governor Young Names Two Judges

SACRAMENTO, Cal., Jan. 7. Governor C. C. Young today appointed Superior Judge Joseph Koford of Oakland as judge of the First district court of appeals, division No, 2. Judge Koford will become presiding justice of that division. He succeeds Justice William H. Langdon, who resigned to become a supreme court justice. City Attorney Leon E. Gray of Oakland was appointed superior judge of Alameda county to the vacancy left by Judge Koford. Gray was a state assemblyman during the legislative session of 1917 and 1919.
