SACRAMENTO. Sept. 13.—Malt store stocks were held legal today, in an opinion by Frank H. Kerrigan, federal district judge. Kerrigan held that bottles, caps, capping machines and other articles were susceptible to both legal and illegal use, but ruled there was not sufficient evidence they were stocked for the purpose of evading national dry laws. He granted a motion to suppress evidence seized in a federal raid on the Port-O-Fruit Juice

and Syrup company of Sacramento.
