■ONfll of the charmingly arranged affairs of the week was the Buncheon and bridge party with which ■Mrs. Otto Sweet entertained this aftBernoon at her home In South VerBnont avenue. The dining room was ■beautifully' decorated with pink and ■green, the table'' being covered with ■a Venetian embroidered cloth over Bilnk satin. The centerpiece was a ■golden basket with tiny electric ■globes of pink roses with sprays of ■follafete. Chinese whist will be played and the prizes will be Chinese trophies. Noodles will be served as refreshments. Mrs. Josephine M. Asbury is patron. SORORITY AFFAIRS The Zeta Tau Alpha sorority of the University of Southern California entertained delightfully with a reception and dance at the Hotel Pepper Thursday evening. The ballroom was beautifully decorated with acacia blooms, potted plants and ferns. Receiving the guests were Mrs. Nonna Rookhold Robbins, Mrs. Walter Kauffmann, Mrs. Clifford Wilcut. Mias Uoggi, Miss Eva Summers and Miss Fanny Hunter. Another delightful affair was a tea given the sorority by its patronesses, when the covers at the tea table were marked by tiny French boutonnieres, and thirtysix guests the afternoon.
