The popular programme among delegates contemplates the adoption of a bran new party platform, which, while comprehension as to the control of monopolies, shall express in explicit terms the feelings of the people upon great issues of the day. Tho attendance, considering, is limited. Judge McKinstry will receive the nomination probably by acclamation. BECOND DISPATCH. !' P. M. —The Independent Slate Convention is in session.
