: San Francisco, November 11th. Alexander McEllany, brother in-law of Judge Nathaniel Bennett, was terribly beaten by some men in a saloon on Sacramento street this morning. It is feared his injuries will prove fatal. , l The Board of Suparvisors last night passed the order granting a portion of Central Basin, Mission Bay, to H. J. Booth & Co., for the purpose of a ship-yard. Supervisor Story gave notice that he would move a reconsideration of the vote by which the order was passed, and it is believed Mivor Alvord will veto it. v Greenbacks, &3@?B>£. Weather cloudy with fair prospects ot more rain. John I. Sabiu has been appointed Superintendent of Construction of the department of the Western Union Telegraph Company on this coast, vice Major J.
