Post-Nuptial Affair Honors Recent Bride

A delightful post-nuptial miscellaneous shoyver was given Friday afternoon, at the home of Mrs. Charlies Burdick at her home, 219 North Grand avenue, for which Mrs. A. B. Brundage was the complimented guest. Acting as joint hostesses were Mrs. Charles Burdick, Mrs. C. E. Ayers, mother-in-law of the bride, and Mrs. Carl Bittner, sister-in-law of the honoree. Profusions of summer flowers, combine'd with smilax were used decoratively, and at the conclusion of the pleasant afternoon, a daintily appointed luncheon was served by the hostesses to a large group of friends. The wedding of Mrs. Brundagte, who was Miss Ada Bittner, of Fresno, was an event of August 24,. when at the home of her parents she became the bride of A. B. Brundage, son of Mrs. C. B. Ayers, of San Pedro, and a popular employee of the San Pedro company. The young folk will make their home at 957 West First street. ♦Among the friends who assembled Fri.day afternoon to bid her welcome to San Pedro and to shower her with appropriate gifts, were Mesdames Steve Ruhmore, Raymond, Pappas, An■tol, E.
